A really nice intimate space to support local music. There were tables for when you wanted to sit as well as an open pit section. The venue's acoustics could fit every music genre, I went to see a heavy metal band and the music played between acts was jazz. It really suited the relaxed ambience. Pictured here is the band Exist, a local Baltimore band!
Went for the garage sale and had a blast. Didn't get any food, but what I saw was delicious. Update! Google is making me update my review instead of write a new one? Went again for Goth Prom II last night and had such a good time! The themed drinks were on point and the music was great.
Mobtown Ballroom is an exceptional venue that offers a wide range of possibilities for hosting engaging events. As a member of the organizing team for an anime, comic, and game (ACG)-centric event, I can attest to the venue’s full potential and its ability to accommodate various activities. The staff members were exceptionally courteous and accommodating. If you are seeking a suitable venue for your upcoming musical event, Mobtown Ballroom presents an excellent option. It can host a DJ party, a live band performance, or even a virtual talent/VTuber showcase on a projector screen.
Mobtown hosted my private event and made it unforgettable! Thank you to Dave and the incredible staff who made it all possible! Hands down a great place to eat, dance and make awesome memories.
The Mobtown Cafe is well worth the quick stop on my long drive to work to get some crumbly baked goodness (pictured: massive corn muffin) and my caffeine fix! Chill atmosphere and tables to work in on the rare occasion I have time to stay.
Excellent cafe, exceptional dance venue. The coffee here is solid and reasonably priced, the biscuits and breakfast sandwiches are top notch, and the baked goods are delightfully flavored without being terribly sweet. This is the best swing dance venue on the east coast, and it’s not even close. 10/10 do recommend
A spacious and bright space great for hanging out and reading a good book or getting some work done. They had a delicious Arnold Palmer made with tea from a local shop in the summer, and hot matcha for the winter. I love the egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit which is sooooo good! The baristas are cool and friendly, and they always compliment my hair :)
Mobtown Ballroom is a wonderful place to go dancing, make & meet friends, and have a great time. Great bar, service, and nice drinks. They've got swing dancing every Monday and Friday night There's always a drop-in beginner lesson that starts at 8pm. Really excited for their new location, brand new custom dance floor, and kitchen! I had a pork rib sandwich and fried pickles. Both were great. Can't wait to check to check them out during the day time for their cafe.
